The Blossom Effect
Mission Statement: Titus 2:3-5
The Blossom Effect is HLI’s Discipleship Program designed to help ladies aged 13-24 grow in confidence, faith, leadership, and practical life skills through community-centered learning.
Who It Serves
Women seeking personal growth, spiritual development, and supportive community as they build stability for themselves and their families.
When We Meet
Cohorts gather via Teams every Monday & Thursday at 6PM for guided sessions that blend teaching, reflection, and real-life application.
Why It Matters
Women thrive when they have space to learn, heal, and grow in Christ. The Blossom Effect equips participants with tools, relationships, and encouragement that strengthen families and communities.

Leadership Residency Program

The Leadership Residency Program is HLI’s flagship development experience equipping emerging nonprofit leaders with spiritual grounding, core leadership skills, and hands-on practice to lead with excellence and impact.
Who It Serves
Aspiring and early‑career nonprofit leaders seeking structured training, mentorship, and community as they grow their capacity to serve families and communities.
When We Meet
Residents will meet twice a month for workshops, coaching, and applied learning experiences throughout the program year beginning in August 2026.
Why It Matters
Strong leaders build strong organizations. The LRP addresses leadership gaps in under‑resourced communities by preparing principled, skilled leaders who can create lasting change.
How to Join
Prospective residents can apply during the open application period through HLI’s online portal. Click the link to fill out the interest form so you can be reminded the application opens March 1st!

Emergency Assistance Program
The Emergency Assistance Program provides short-term, needs-based support to help individuals and families stabilize during unexpected crises.
Types of Help
The EAP offers limited assistance with essential needs such as groceries, household items, transportation support, and other urgent necessities that help families regain stability.
How to Get Help
Community members can request assistance by completing HLI’s Emergency Assistance Request Form. A staff member will review the request and follow up with next steps. Please ensure you read this before submitting the application!
How to Fund
Support the EAP by giving directly to the program. Your contribution helps families meet urgent needs and strengthens HLI’s ability to respond quickly in moments of crisis.

A community prayer and planning experience that helps families enter the new year grounded, focused, and supported.
Christmas Blessing
A holiday outreach offering gifts, essentials, and encouragement to families during the Christmas season.
