Our projects are designed to strengthen families through practical support, discipleship, and community partnership. Each initiative reflects our commitment to dignity, hope, and real help for households across Chicago.
Annual Christmas Blessing
This year HLI blessed 35+ families (108+ children) with gifts and resources to enter the New Year of 2026 with. The Christmas Blessing is meant to provide low-income and poverty-stricken families with the opportunity to take a breath before entering the New Year. Thank you for your willingness to help us to provide gifts, resources, prayer, etc. for these families!

Walking with families through faith, growth, and real-life support.
The Blossom Effect Discipleship Program is built on relationship, encouragement, and spiritual development. We meet families where they are — offering prayer support, biblical guidance, and practical tools that help them grow in faith and navigate everyday challenges with confidence.
Our approach is simple and intentional:
• Relational discipleship that honors each person’s story
• Prayer and spiritual support for families seeking direction and hope
• Faith-centered community connections that strengthen households
• Practical encouragement that helps families apply biblical principles to real life
This program is not about perfection — it’s about walking together, building trust, and helping families experience hope that lasts.
